Morning Anchor Chad Sabadie is thrilled to be back in Baton Rouge and help start your day off on Local 33 Today.

Chad recently spent three years in New Orleans as a Sports Anchor and Reporter. It capped off a solid decade in sports broadcasting with previous stops in Baton Rouge and north Mississippi before joining the Local 33 team in October of 2015.

Chad has been fortunate to cover some of our state's biggest sporting events, including the Saints winning Super Bowl XLIV in 2010, LSU football in the 2008 and 2012 BCS National Championship games and LSU baseball in the 2008, 2009 and 2015 College World Series.

Chad is a south Louisiana native who grew up in Slidell before graduating from LSU's Manship School of Mass Communication. Chad also earned his Master's Degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California.

Chad and his wife Brooke have two young children, Ellis Cade and Brynn, and family all over Baton Rouge.
