Jeanne Burns is a veteran broadcaster with 25 years of experience in news.

For 23 of those years, she's been on the air in Baton Rouge reporting on the people, culture, music, and politics that make South Louisiana so unique.

Jeanne first worked for NBC33 in 1996 and quickly became one of the most trusted names in Baton Rouge television.

The award winning broadcaster has played a key role in bringing recognition, ratings, and acclaim to programs that, in the past, had struggled against the competition.

Jeanne's a hometown girl whose Baton Rouge roots run deep.

A lifetime resident, she represented Louisiana in the Miss USA pageant and was chosen to represent Miss USA on a USO tour of Alaska and the Asian Pacific.

Jeanne graduated from  LSU's Manship School of Mass Communication in 1990.

She's been married to the love of her life since 2001.

She and her husband Lloyd have three children and own and operate a family fitness center.
