10/31 Consortium to host 7th Annual Peanut Butter Cup Mini-Golf Tournament

BATON ROUGE, La (LOCAL 33) - The 10/31 Consortium will host The 7th Annual Peanut Butter Cup Mini-Golf Tournament, Friday, May 19, 2017, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at All Star Lanes, 9829 Airline Highway in Baton Rouge.  Dress for the event is casual, costume or “golf-tastic.”

The tournament, a fundraiser and “Halfoween” celebration for the consortium, is open to the public.  Teams of up to 4 players will compete in a unique game of mini golf where living obstacles appear on the enchanted course.  The team with the best 18-hole score wins a peanut butter cup filled trophy.  The coveted Orange Jacket will be awarded to the highest individual adult score and a special trophy will be awarded to the best individual score posted by a child under 12.

Entry fees* are as follows:

  • $40 for Adult golfers
  • $25 for children 12 and under

10/31 Consortium members at the Full or Harvest Moon levels will automatically receive 20% off the registration fee when properly logged into the organization’s website.

Entry fee includes 18 holes of mini-golf, 2 return passes for bowling, and a private 10/31 Consortium BBQ with hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad and sodas.

Those wishing to attend the event as a non-playing spectator or as a caddie for players may do so for $20.  This non-playing fee includes admission to the course and access to the private barbeque. Volunteers are also able to sign up as a Living Obstacle to help entertain guests and make the competition more challenging for golfers. Sponsorships are still available for $250 and include a complimentary four person team, swag bag inclusion, logo on all event signage and other perks.  Those interested in sponsoring the event should email info@1031Consortium.com. 

Attendees who bring non-perishable food items for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank will be entered into the drawing for door prizes.  Attendees are also encouraged to donate a new or gently used children’s Halloween costume for the 10/31 Consortium Costume Drive to benefit the youth served by the Big Buddy Program.
