APSO arrest Gonzales man on drug charges

BATON ROUGE, La. (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) - The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division arrested a Gonzales man on drug charges Friday night. 

Chief Deputy Bobby Webre said, APSO arrested John Davis, 31, on multiple drug charges. 

According to Allison B. Hudson, PIO for the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, December 22, detectives executed a search warrant on a residence located at 41040 Busy Needles Road, apartment A, in Gonzales.

After executing the search warrant, detectives located a quantities of heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, suboxone, and digital scales in the residence.

Davis was then placed under arrest and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on charges of possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of suboxone, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an active bench warrant for breach of bail condition. 

Bond has not been set yet.
