APSO asking for public's help in finding Port Allen man wanted on contractor fraud

BATON ROUGE, La. (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) - The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man wanted on contractor fraud and exploitation of the infirmed.

APSO is seeking the public's help in finding Naylor Cooper, 37 of Port Allen, who detectives believe defrauded an elderly resident.

According to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre, "detectives received a complaint in January 2018 where Cooper made contact with an elderly resident and made an agreement to provide limestone at $700. Cooper only provided approximately $200 worth of the product and charged the victim $3,700."

Allison B. Hudson, PIO for APSO, said the last known address for Cooper is 3734 S. Riverview Drive, lot 4, Port Allen.

Chief Deputy Webre said that Cooper might be residing with relatives in Ascension Parish.
