BRPD investigating fatal shooting on North Ardenwood Drive

BATON ROUGE, La (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) - Baton Rouge Police detectives are investigating a Thursday night shooting that left a 22-year-old man dead.

According to authorities, the shooting happened around 7 p.m. at 1957 North Ardenwood Drive. Authorities said Austin Rashadd was shot while inside a vehicle and died at the scene. 

A second victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive his injuries. Information on motives or suspects is not available at this time.
