BugBand delivers Mosquito Relief to the Capital City

A Georgia businessman went the extra mile to help victims of our recent floods find relief from mosquitoes.

Dan Ritter, the president of BugBand loaded up his personal plane and flew into the Baton Rouge Airport to deliver over 10,000 of BugBand's insect repellent towelettes to the Mid City Redevelopment Alliance.

Prevention of the spread of the Zika virus and other diseases has been a concern since the flood water started to go down.

A crew from the redevelopment alliance were on scene to unload the repellent at the airport.

Everyone involved said it is all about helping where you can.
