Former WAFB employee arrested for alleged video voyeurism

BATON ROUGE, La. (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) - A former employee at WAFB has been arrested Wednesday on charges of allegedly recording a woman using the bathroom at the TV station.

According to authorites, Morgan McDermitt used his cellphone camera to record two women in the bathroom which was found by one of the women tucked into a jacket lying on the floor. The victim stated as she was sitting down on the toilet she noticed a reflection coming from the jacket according to the report.

The woman later found out that the phone belonged to McDermitt whom resigned from the station earlier in November and was only at the station as a guest Tuesday of this week. When officers contacted McDermitt he agreed to answer questions where he admitted to the allegations.

McDermitt has been book on two charges of video voyeurism.
