Jury selection set to begin in murder trial of man accused of killing fiance's abuser

Baton Rouge, LA - The man accused of killing his fiance's abuser in 2015 is set to go on trial this week for second degree murder in Baton Rouge. 

Jace Crehen is charged with second-degree murder in the 2015 death of Robert Noce.  According to deputies, Crehen and his fiance, Brittany Monk, killed Noce two weeks after Noce was placed on probation for sexually abusing Brittany Monk as a child.  

Monk was also charged with second-degree murder and is expected to testify against Crehen as part of deal with prosecutors. 

Jury selection for Crehen's second-degree murder trial is expected to being Monday.  Judge Anthony Marabella will preside over the trial.
