Second charge added for suspect in connection with LSU armed robberies

BATON ROUGE, La. (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) - The LSU Police Department has added a second armed robbery charge for Tyzell Duncan. 

Ernie Ballard, Media Relations Director for LSU said, that further investigation has connected Duncan to the armed robbery that occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Jan 11 near Blake Hall.  

Duncan is also accused of robbing someone near Kirby Smith Hall on January 10. 

Ballard said, On January 13, Baton Rouge City Police officers arrested Tyzell Duncan on several charges.

LSUPD investigators also charged him with one count of armed robbery.

Duncan was already booked in East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for the BRPD charges and several warrants.

Both armed robberies are still under investigation regarding other suspects.
