Sen. John Kennedy introduces bill to end diversity visa lottery

BATON ROUGE, La (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) - U.S. Sen. John Kennedy introduced a bill in the U.S. Senate that would end the diversity visa lottery program.

The diversity visa lottery program currently gives out 50,000 visas every year. Unlike other visas, these are not given out based on employment, or family, or need, but instead are given out through a randomly selected lottery program.
