The Fourth Annual BREW at the Zoo will feature live music and more than 200 craft beers from local, regional and national breweries in addition to unique beers created by members of Baton Rouge-area homebrew associations.

Food from around the area will also be present to complement the beer on top. Some eateries include: L’auberge Stadium Club, Raising Canes, Mason’s Grill, Ninja Snowballs and more.

“For the past three years, this event has been a sell out,” said Phil Frost, Zoo Director. “BREW has become a flagship event not only at the Zoo, but in Baton Rouge as a whole. We certainly encourage everyone interested in coming to snag their tickets early, as they go fast. The Zoo also encourages all attendees to have a designated driver in their group.”

The event is open to adults 21 and older only. General admission tickets are $45 and grant access to the beer and food on site. For those interested in attending but not drinking, a special $20 “Designated Driver” ticket is available, allowing access to all food and non-alcoholic beverages. The Zoo is also partnering with a ride service who will provide a discount code to event attendees. The co-chairs for this year’s event are Heather Kleinpeter and Franz Borghardt.
