Drier weather pattern in the days ahead; Temperatures soar.

Storms return Saturday with our next cold front.

4-18-2017 - Tonight: Storms will fade early. Clouds will quickly clear overnight. Expect another round of patchy fog. Temperatures will drop into the mid 60s.

Tomorrow: We stay mainly dry tomorrow with partly cloudy skies. However, a stray, short-lived shower is still possible. Temperatures will quickly spike. High will climb into the mid 90s.

Extended: The chance for rain will sit slightly lower in the coming days. If we see some rain, it will be widely isolated. Temperatures will jump well above average. Daytime highs will sit in the mid to upper 80s. A cold front will drive through south Louisiana Saturday night. Storms will be likely for late Saturday. Cool and comfortable weather arrives on the backside of the front.
