We tackle the heat and humidity this upcoming Father's Day weekend.

The chance for rain remains low.

6-16-2017 - Tonight: A thunderstorm or two may be possible east of I-55. Otherwise, the rest of the evening will be quiet. Expect mild and muggy conditions. Lows near 73.

Tomorrow: Saturday will be hot and even a little oppressive. Heat indices will continue to approach triple digits. Rain chances remain low. Highs near 91.

Extended: Father's Day is looking relatively dry. An isolated storm is possible during the afternoon. The weather pattern doesn't change much for most of next week. However, a little disturbance in the southern Gulf of Mexico could eventually bring us some rain towards the end of next week.
