
Aileen joined BRProud in August 2021 and is ecstatic to be in the Boot! She is no stranger to purple and gold. Aileen’s a proud East Carolina University alumna.
During her time in Greenville, N.C., she was a member of ECU Women’s Volleyball and Chi Omega Rho Zeta. She finished school with seven internships including: ESPNU Campus Connection, WNCN-TV, WITN-TV and WNCT-TV. Aileen also hosted her own show on WZMB 91.3 FM.
After graduating in 2018, Aileen accepted a sports reporter position at NBC29 WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia. Home of ‘Hoos, she covered two national championships, the Orange Bowl, Belk Bowl and a handful of ACC tournaments. By her second year, she became weekend sports anchor at 29, handling all duties on Saturdays and Sundays.
After Charlottesville, Aileen moved back to her hometown near Tampa and worked as a freelance sports broadcaster across the state of Florida. She worked for CBS Sports Network as a sideline reporter/host, created a weekly sports podcast on Spotify, was an analyst for high school volleyball and football, worked with the Tampa Bay Rowdies and more.
Aileen is grateful to join the NBC33/FOX44 Sports team and call Baton Rouge home.
