Bryan Ramsey joined the StormTracker Team in July 2021. You can catch him on NBC Local 33 from 5 to 7 A.M. and FOX 44 from 7:30 to 9 A.M. Monday through Friday.
Bryan was raised in a small town near Galveston, Texas and has witnessed numerous hurricanes while growing up on the Texas coast. He attended Texas A&M University where he graduated in 2019 with a B.S. in Meteorology and two minors in journalism and geography. Before graduating, Bryan participated in 3 broadcast internships with tv stations in the Houston area. He was an active storm chaser in college and lead the broadcast program at Texas A&M for several years.
Upon graduation, Bryan moved to Northern California to work for the NBC/CBS affiliate in Chico-Redding, California. There he covered everything from major winter storms to deadly, million-acre wildfires.
Bryan is glad to be closer to his family and friends with weather he was born & raised in. Bryan’s hobbies are photography and hiking. If it is something outdoors, he feels right at home. It may be humid and hot at times, but he loves the food and people in Baton Rouge. Bryan has the experience and knowledge to cover severe and tropical weather on our morning show and looks forward to bringing a smile to your face each and every morning.
