Before coming to the capital city, she worked at our sister station KLFY News 10 in Lafayette, Louisiana as a Reporter/Fill-in Anchor and Morning Producer.

Carly is from Cordova, Alabama. She graduated from The University of Montevallo with a degree in Mass Communication and a double minor in Public Relations and Theatrical Arts.

Some of Carly’s most notable stories include coverage of the Grand Theatre shooting in Lafayette, the historic floods of 2016, the officer shootings of 2016 in Baton Rouge and her weekly segment Louisiana Women.

Carly enjoys being an active member of the community. She is a volunteer at the Capital Area Animal Alliance and is involved with numerous community events and organizations that support local charities and health advocacy.

Since coming to Baton Rouge Carly is proud to have created a weekly fitness segment called ‘Workout Wednesday’ in hopes of encouraging an active lifestyle.

When Carly is not working she can be found playing volleyball at local beach volleyball clubs or running the LSU Lakes with her dog Lola.

Carly also has an appreciation for female role models and hosts a weekly special titled ‘Louisiana Women’ on notable female members of the community in hopes of inspiring young women and children.

She loves meeting new people and connecting with viewers. If you have a story you’d like to share or advice on a place she should check out, she would love to hear from you!
