BATON ROUGE- Despite bad weather, day 1 of Fall Camp is officially in the books for Southern after a weather delay pushed the start time back an hour.

We asked new Head Coach Eric Dooley whether or not the weather would alter his team’s schedule.

“If it was game day right here, we would be playing,” said Coach Dooley. “The only thing that would stop us is lightning. So long as no lightning and it’s safe for us to get out on the field. We’re going to go.”

The Jaguars were fortunate the weather held off despite the downpour to start Wednesday morning.

Jaguar nation is expecting a high-powered offense under Coach Dooley, but don’t sleep on the Jag’s defense. Coach Dooley explained how he’s build his team from the inside out starting with both the offensive and defensive lines.
