Southern men drop second straight, lose to Jackson State

BATON ROUGE, La. – Southern men’s basketball entered Monday’s game against Jackson State looking for success after Saturday’s heartbreaking loss to Grambling State, but the Jaguars didn’t have any better luck against Jackson State.

Southern shot 33.3% for the game and 11% from three-point range. The Jaguars’ loss to the Tigers by 10 points. Monday’s game marked the fourth loss for the Southern in their last five games. The Jags’ next game is at Arkansas-Pine Bluff Saturday.
