BATON ROUGE, LA (WVLA/WGMB)– LSU quarterback Joe Burrow and running-back Clyde Edwards-Helaire were named SEC Co-Offensive Players of the Week after their performances in LSU’s win against Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL on Saturday.
According to SEC Network, Burrow completed 31-of-39 passes for 393 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for 64 yards to finish with 457 yards of total offense, the third-highest total in school history.
Edwards-Helaire rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries and caught nine passes for 77 yards and a score. Edwards Helaire has rushed for 100+ yards in four of LSU’s five SEC games this year.
The LSU Tigers will take on Ole Miss in Oxford, MS at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
