BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – For the second year in a row, LSU President William F. Tate IV used a creative way to celebrate the start of the 2022-2023 Fall Semester with the university’s students.
The Baton Rouge campus was bustling with activity Monday, August 22 as fall classes began, and it wasn’t long before the Student Union was the scene of a memorable moment.
Dr. Tate played multiple students in several games of putt-putt golf during the second annual ‘Putting with the President’ event.
Tate used the opportunity to chat with students and engage in a bit of friendly competition that occasionally resulted in a few fist-pumps and cheers.
