BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Strap up those kicks for a cause! The 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge is inviting the community out for a night of philanthropy, fun, and to celebrate the impact of mentorship in the community.

The purpose of the 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge Sneaker Soiree is to provide support to our Project Excel mentees in the form of scholarships for graduating mentees and an all-expenses-paid summer camping trip for their entire mentoring program, according to organizers.

The event is taking place on Saturday, April 8 at the L’Auberge Casino & Hotel at 8 p.m.

Event Details:

  • Attire: Formal to Semi-Formal w/ Fashionable Sneakers (no exceptions)
  • Age: 25+ to attend
  • Sounds Powered By: Mannie Fresh and Perfect 10 Productions
  • Sponsor Giveaways
  • All ticket sales include admission to event, Cajun dinner buffet, and premium open bar.
  • No ticket sales at the event.
