BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The annual free holiday lights display in front of Baton Rouge General is one of the fastest-growing family traditions in the Capital City.
Since 2017, the hospital’s large green space has been transformed during the holiday season into a twinkling, singing and musically synchronized display. This year’s event features a new 24-foot walk-through tunnel.
Attendees may also find themselves with the perfect selfie opportunity inside one of the two oversized, walk-through Christmas displays. Both a blue-lit ornament and a green present stand more than ten feet tall and are each adorned with thousands of lights.
There is also a 40-foot mega tree with two 25-foot trees synchronized to music and a 9-foot Cajun alligator light display.
The ‘Holiday Lights’ display is open through Dec. 31. Lights are turned on at 5:30 p.m. nightly.
