BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Fathers on a Mission, better known as FOAM, is hosting its annual Father-Daughter Dance event on Saturday, April 1.

Levar Robinson, executive director and founder of FOAM, said this is the perfect way for a dad to bond with his child. Increasing time spent together not only creates memories but can help prevent other issues at home.

If a dad wants to attend the event, but can’t afford the proper attire, FOAM is giving away free suits.

Robinson, a father of six, left his job working in a chemical plant to start his nonprofit organization called Fathers on a Mission. Their mission is to provide parenting resources for men and promote committed fatherhood through education and strong relationships.

The event is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 4400 Airpark Blvd.

To purchase tickets for the Father-Daughter Dance visit the FOAM website or Eventbrite. For suit donations, clothes can be picked up by appointment only. Call 225-239-7833 for more information or visit FOAM’s Facebook page and website. The nonprofit organization is also accepting donations from the public.
