BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Wednesday is Whisker Wednesday!

Willow is up for adoption at Cat Haven in Baton Rouge! She is a seven or eight year old calico cat. She was surrendered to Cat Haven by her owner, but it was no fault of her own. Willow would do very well with a family with children, but she would need some time to warm up to them. She can be a little shy, but once she’s comfortable, she wants all of the attention and affection. Willow is a known couch potato, but she also loves to play! She would love to have a place by the window to watch birds, squirrels, and lizards and even to sunbathe! Her adoption is sponsored, which means her adoption fee is waived.

Willow loved the cat nip!

Cat Haven is hosting an open house on Sunday, December 11th from 3 PM to 5 PM at 11130 North Harrells Ferry Road in Baton Rouge. The event is a “thank you” to donors, adopters, volunteers, fosters, and the community for all of their help and support. Cat Haven says, “Come enjoy some hors d’oeuvres and drinks while socializing with feline friends and human friends!”
