BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Wednesday is Whisker Wednesday!

Charlotte is up for adoption at Cat Haven! She was brought to Cat Haven with her two kittens. Toban Thompson, Adoption Manager of Cat Haven, says, “She won’t take no for an answer when she wants you to love her.”

As you can see below, Charlotte really loves affection and attention.

If you’re looking for a lap cat or a friend for your other pet, Charlotte may be the one for you! This sweet girl is around 2 years old which means her adoption fee is $125. You can visit Charlotte at Cat Haven, 11130 N. Harrells Ferry Road. Cat Haven is open from noon to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

It’s time! Cat Haven’s annual fundraising event, Cat Tales and Cocktails, takes place on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6-9 p.m at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge. Costumes are optional, but there will be a costume contest. You will be able to enjoy live music, live and silent auctions, and enjoy food and drinks. All proceeds will go back to Cat Haven, which means more cats and kittens can be saved. You can purchase tickets online or at the door.

Cat Tales & Cocktails on October 28, 2023

How You Can Help Cat Haven

Cat Haven desperately needs fosters and adopters so they can rescue more cats and kittens in need.

There are many cats and kittens up for adoption at Cat Haven! If you cannot adopt a furry friend, but you’d like to help out, you can fostervolunteer or donate.

If you cannot foster, adopt, or volunteer, Cat Haven always needs cat litter.
