PHOENIX – You’ve probably had a doughnut for breakfast. And maybe you paired the doughnut with a side of eggs. Sounds totally delicious.

But have you had an egg-filled doughnut?

Krispy Kreme in Thailand is making an egg custard-filled doughnut ring. The inside is “egg lava” creating a sweet and salty treat.

This may sound bizarre, but egg tarts are actually quite common in many countries. The egg custard is reportedly made out of sugar, salt, milk, and egg yolks. And since the doughnut is a classic ring style, there is a bit of custard in every bite.

The Salted Egg-Filled Ring is selling for 35 baht (which is about $1) and is available until June 30 at Thailand locations. It can also be paired with a salted egg macchiato.
