BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — It’s Bridgerton meets The Bachelor in Peacock’s newest reality dating series… and you can be a part of it!
Pride and Prejudice: An Experiment in Romance is holding a nationwide casting, but you’ll have to act fast because the deadline to apply is Friday, July 16.
The reality dating show will be produced by Endemol Shine North America, the same production company behind MasterChef and LEGO Masters. The show, inspired by Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice takes the dating world back in time to Regency-era England. A group of noble suitors will attempt to win over the love of one woman in a fairytale-like journey filled with chariot rides, balls and 19th-century romance, according to a release.
The series is reportedly still searching for a leading lady (eligible bachelorette), in addition to gentlemen interested in vying for her hand. The show is expected to shoot at an undisclosed, international location and a passport will be necessary.
