BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A well-known Christian musician is coming to Baton Rouge next year.
Michael W. Smith is scheduled to perform at the Raising Cane’s River Center on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Smith’s stop in Baton Rouge for his “Forever” Tour will be one of two he makes in Louisiana. He will follow up his Baton Rouge show with a stop in Shreveport on Saturday, March 16, 2024. The shows are part of a 22-city spring tour.
Smith recently won the Christmas/Special Event Album of the Year for “Christmas at Home” at the 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards.
If you are interested in attending the show in Baton Rouge, tickets sales to the general public start at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27.
According to michaelwsmith.com, the Christian artist won three Grammy’s, “45 Dove Awards, an American Music award, and has sold more than 15 million albums.”
Some of Smith’s hits include “Place in the World” and “Above All.”
