Free rapid COVID-19 test giveaway being held in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) If you’re in need of an at-home COVID-19 test, there’s an opportunity to pick one up.

Councilwoman Carolyn Coleman and Senator Cleo Fields are partnering to give out free rapid COVID-19 tests to the community.

This will be happening Wednesday, Dec. 29 at the Leo S. Butler Center, 950 E Washington Street at noon. This is a drive-thru event and one testing kit will be given per person. Kits will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
