IDEA Public Schools to continue providing meals to students during summer months

IDEA Public Schools will continue to supply curbside meals at all of their campuses during the summer. The meal distribution is part of the school system’s ongoing effort

To date, IDEA Public Schools has served over two million meals to children in the Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, Tarrant County, Baton Rouge and New Orleans amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meals at IDEA schools in Baton Rouge will be available for pick up on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at IDEA Bridge and IDEA Innovation.

All meals are provided via drive-thru only. All children in the community 18 years and under are eligible for meals at any school location. For more information visit: https://ideapublicschools.org/parents/network-updates/.
