West Baton Rouge Sheriff Clinton Brown and band to perform free concert for Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRProud) – West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Deputy Clifton Brown and The Rusty Bucket Band will perform a free concert in the parking lot at Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge (OMCBR) on Friday, May 29.

“I didn’t want to just treat Ochsner to a show,” stated Brown, who is a first responder himself.  “I want to reward them.”

The concert is scheduled to occur from 11am-1pm. June 5 has been scheduled as a potential make-up date in the case of rain.  In the spirit of social distancing, the event is open only to hospital staff, according to OMCBR. The show will be available on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/CliftonBrownAndTheRustyBucketBand/.

A lunch of pastalaya, white beans with ham and salad will be prepared by members of Louisiana Veterans Affairs for the hospital staff The following community sponsors will help provide the lunch: Coca-Cola, All Star Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge, Fairway Mortgage, Certified Alarms, Theriot’s Heating & Air, Doug Olinde Event Rental, Grand Paradise Casino, Dixie RV Superstore and West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Mike Cazes.
