Disaster Recovery Center in Donaldsonville set to close

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Donaldsonville will be closing this Friday.

Residents of all parishes affected by Hurricane Ida can continue to visit a number of other centers open in Louisiana. To locate a center, check the FEMA app or visit the FEMA DRC Locator. All centers follow COVID-19 precautions. Masks are required for both FEMA specialists and survivors.

The following center will close permanently at 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15:

Lemann Center
1100 Clay Street
Donaldsonville, LA 70346

The DRC located in Gonzales remains open, according to FEMA spokesperson Nate Custer. The Gonzales DRC location is at 1112 E Ascension Complex Blvd.
