The COVID-19 testing site at Baton Rouge General’s Mid City location will resume operations Thursday from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Patients’ healthcare providers must fax orders for testing, and written orders will not be accepted, according to Mike Armstrong, the chief communications officer for the city.
Since the site opened on Monday, March 16, medical staff have administered 996 COVID-19 tests at that site, Armstrong wrote.
Doctors from local hospitals and clinics are running the testing site.
