VENICE, La. (BRPROUD) — A man accused of harassing hunters was arrested by Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) agents.

On Dec. 26, LDWF agents arrested the accused, 32-year-old Brendan Nolan of Buras, after receiving complaints from hunters. Agents received a video from the hunters where Nolan was seen verbally harassing the hunters and shooting the hunters’ decoys with a loaded pistol.

Nolan was arrested by LDWF agents and Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office (PPSO) and booked on charges of harassment of a person lawfully hunting, simple assault, criminal damage to property and illegal discharge of a firearm.

LDWF said Nolan may face additional charges as the investigation into this incident continues.
