BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is reminding the public of boating safety practices as Labor Day weekend approaches.

In a PSA, LDWF Secretary Jack Montoucet urges anyone out in the water to wear lifejackets, specifically children, and to avoid drinking while operating a watercraft.
