Louisiana passes 2,900 COVID Patients in Hospitals

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Louisiana Department of Health reports 5,268 new COVID cases with 54 new deaths.

Here is the COVID-19 breakdown for Louisiana:

  • 5,268 new cases bringing the overall total to 607,228
  • 54 new deaths bringing the overall total to 11,462
  • 2,901 COVID patients are currently in the hospital
  • 386 COVID patients are on ventilators

There have been 3,755,344 COVID-19 doses administered in the state.
