NEW ORLEANS (BRProud) — Music makes New Orleans special. And it’s everywhere here, especially this fall. Catch your favorite artists and discover new ones at dozens of venues all over town as part of NOLAxNOLA (NOLA BY NOLA), a citywide celebration of New Orleans music and culture.
In 2021, NOLAxNOLA featured more than 300 musical performances at 35 venues over ten days, versus a large festival ground with hundreds of thousands of people. NOLAxNOLA was such a success that organizers decided to make it an annual event, and this year is shaping up to be even bigger and better.
Music venues, nightclubs, performers and the city’s tourism leaders formed the unprecedented coalition to bring live music back to New Orleans after the COVID crisis when musicians and other live performers across the country lost their livelihoods as entertainment venues were shuttered or subject to occupancy restrictions.
The 2022 Jazz Fest returned to New Orleans this past spring and saw record attendance. Now, culture seekers have another reason to visit New Orleans in the fall with NOLAxNOLA.
The concert series will be held from Sept. 23 to Oct. 9. Additional information including the lineup can be found here.
