PONCHATOULA, La. (BRPROUD) — Police are offering a $5,000 reward as they continue to search for the suspects accused of a shooting at the Strawberry Festival last weekend.

The Ponchatoula Police Department continues to investigate the shooting that took place in the 200 block of West Hickory Street at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9.

Police said its precinct was hit twice but no one was injured. The number of shell casings discovered by officers leads them to believe there was more than one shooter.

Anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the suspects will receive the reward. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-554-5245, visiting www.tangicrimestoppers.com or using the P3 Tips app.
