WASHINGTON, D.C. (BRPROUD) — Senator Bill Cassidy says FEMA will be granting Louisiana Children’s Medical Center $1,686,861.14 in Robert T. Stafford Act funding for COVID-19 relief.

“As we work to move past the pandemic, this grant will allow the Louisiana’s Children’s Medical Center to continue providing safe, quality care to children around our state,” said Cassidy.

The hospital located in New Orleans provides pediatric care for children in the state and Gulf Coast in its 224-bed facility which offers over 40 pediatric specialties and over 100 subspecialists.
