LOCKPORT, La. (BRPROUD) — Lafourche Parish authorities arrested two individuals following an investigation into illegal drugs sold in the area.

Robert Adams, 56, of Lockport and a 59-year-old woman were arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 4, according to Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO).

LPSO agents found suspected drugs, including methamphetamine, marijuana and Klonopin, and items used to sell drugs while searching Adams’ home.

Adams faces charges of possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $95,000.

The woman arrested faces a drug possession charge. Her bond was set at $5,000.
