U.S. Quidditch tournament to be held in Baton Rouge this weekend

College quidditch teams from Louisiana and Texas will compete in the U.S. Quidditch Southwest Regional Championship tournament this weekend in Baton Rouge.

This tournament gives teams a shot at qualifying for the U.S. Quidditch Cup, the collegiate sport’s national championship event.

LSU’s team will attend the tournament, which will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the LSU UREC Field Complex, located at Gourrier Ave. in Baton Rouge.

Admission is free to the public, and tickets can be obtained here.
