Judge Gail Grover to headline ‘Dismantling the school to prison pipeline’

BATON ROUGE, La. (WVLA/WGMB) — Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) will host a “Partners in Education Business Luncheon” today in an effort to dismantle the school to prison pipeline.

Judge Gail Grover who oversees the Juvenile Court, Division B for East Baton Rouge Parish, will be the featured speaker.

The event will be held at the Main Library, 7711 Goodwood Boulevard. Networking will take place from 11:30-11:45 a.m. and starting at 11:45 a.m., the luncheon officially begins. The luncheon is expected to last an hour and fifteen minutes.
