BATON ROUGE, La. (WVLA/WGMB) — A new service is debuting in Baton Rouge for people who may be too busy to do household chores – specifically laundry.
The hampr app is an on-demand laundry service where a person picks up household laundry and returns it washed and folded. Return service is promised the following day, according to CEO Laurel Hess.
The app was developed by Hess, a resident of Lafayette, who is also a full-time mother and runs her own advertising agency.
Memberships on the hampr app start at $39/month and pricing is then based on a flat rate of $10 per load.
The hampr app will be available in the Apple Store and on Google Play beginning March 14. Use the code “LSU” for a discounted membership of $10 off.
