Ten people were arrested in a narcotics investigation in Livingston Parish.

The Sheriff’s office said the narcotics division, along with the assistance of the LPSO Criminal Patrol Division, executed a search warrant Monday at 30985 Sweet Bay St. in Denham Springs.

Sheriff Jason Ard said, “The search warrant was the result of a recent narcotics investigation into Randy Wright for possessing and distributing illegal narcotics from his residence.”

32-year-old Randy Wright, 30-year-old Arkell Thomas, 29-year-old Kevin Cupit, 44-year-old Theresa Sullivan, 44-year-old Donald Fisher, 38-year-old
Joseph Eaton and 25-year-old Taylor Gill were booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on a variety of charges

45-year-old Jason Ballard, 29-year-old Tracey Woodward and 51-year-old Tammy Calhoun are no longer in the Livingston Parish Detention Center, but all three face drug charges.

Ard added, “Sixteen individuals were present at the residence upon executing the search warrant. Nine were found to be in possession of illegal narcotics. One had a fugitive warrant through the Louisiana Office of Probation and Parole. This is the result of solid team work between divisions at the LPSO & cooperation with our citizens.”
