3rd Annual Tiger 10K registration opens Monday

Registration for the Tiger 10K begins Monday

Registration for the Third Annual Tiger 10K opens on Monday, August 5th at noon.

The event, which features a 10K, 5K and a Kids Mile, will take place Sunday, Dec. 8, at the south gates of Tiger Stadium.

Thousands of runners, joggers and walkers will enjoy a scenic tour of the LSU campus as they pass many of its historic landmarks including the University Lakes, Sorority Row, the Parade Grounds, the Bell Tower, and the Indian Mounds all before finishing in the shadows of Tiger Stadium.

Upon crossing the Finish Line all participants will be awarded a commemorative finishers medal featuring the classic Mike the Tiger logo that adorns the football helmets.

This year’s race will finish outside the Stadium as the stadium improvements originally scheduled for last fall are planned to take place at the end of this football season.

This year’s event will still have all the tradition, pomp and circumstance associated with LSU football.

Registration opens online at www.Tiger10K.com at noon on Monday, August 5th. The first 500 runners to register for the 10K and first 500 runners to register for the 5K all receive a special registration rate.

All participants will receive a commemorative shirt, finishers medal, chip timing, and the opportunity to enjoy the post-race party, which will take place near the finish line and will feature food, beer, live music and have a tailgating ambience that is uniquely LSU.

Runners, joggers and walkers are invited to come #RaceToDeathValley with us Sunday, December 8th and earn the 2019 finisher medal as well as bragging rights that last a lifetime.

This event is a production of FRESHJUNKIE RACING in cooperation with Louisiana State University Tiger Athletics .
