BATON ROUGE, La. (BRProud) – After a 2-year hiatus, Lighthouse Louisiana will be presenting their 7th annual signature Dining in the Dark event.

Dining in the Dark is a sensory engaging evening that will be held on November 4, 2021 at 7 p.m. at The Estuary at the Water Campus.

The event will feature blindfolded taste bud tingling food and drink pairings, a silent auction, wine pull, and live 90’s rock music from local band Blue Verse. Experience sensory activities while dancing the night away over breathtaking views over the Mississippi River.

Sponsors include Hancock Whitney Bank, Baton Rouge Regional Eye Bank, Eye Medical Center, Ochsner Health System Baton Rouge, Jones Walker, Baton Rouge Regional Eye Surgery Center, and Dr. Michael Morgan.

All proceeds from the event go to support the mission and services the Lighthouse provides to the Baton Rouge community.

The state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Gulfport create jobs for people who are blind. Proceeds from the sales of high-quality, commercially competitive products help fund services for people who are blind, deaf, and who have other disabilities.

Tickets are $100 and can be purchased by visiting www.lighthouselouisiana.org/give
