Baton Rouge man arrested at Home Depot in Zachary

The Zachary Police Department apprehended a 29-year-old Baton Rouge man on Wednesday, July 3.

Kory White entered a Home Depot and took one item without paying.

According to the Denham Springs Police Department, “officers were advised that an unknown white male, passed all points of sale, without rendering payment for a tool set valued at $500.”

When officers arrived at the scene, the suspect dropped the tool set and left the Home Depot.

The Denham Springs Police Department immediately put a photo of the suspect on their Facebook page.

DSPD said, “the suspect was apprehended by the Zachary Police Department, at their Home Depot later in the day.”

This was not the first time that Kory White had stepped foot into a Home Depot.

According to the Denham Springs Police Department, “White had been to multiple other Home Depot stores before being apprehended in Zachary. ”
