The American Advertising Federation of Baton Rouge will host Ken Krimstein at the Federation’s monthly luncheon at Juban’s on Nov. 4, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. Krimstein’s presentation, “Breaking Down the Glass: A New Yorker Cartoonist Bares All.”
The presentation will explore the process of coming up with big ideas, and making them sell, whether you’re trying to make people laugh or cry, think or buy.
Krimstein is a full-time Professional Lecturer at DePaul University, as well as an award-winning creative director who combines executive experience at some of the top agencies in New York, Chicago, and Hong Kong with an extensive career as partner in his own creative marketing agencies in New York City and Chicago.
He has worked on everything from Coca-Cola to American Express, and has created award-winning public service advertising for clients from The Skin Cancer Foundation.
In addition, Krimstein is a regular cartoonist for The New Yorker Magazine and other publications like “The Wall Street Journal,” “Reader’s Digest,” “Harvard Business Review” and “Barron’s.”
