AARP Louisiana to host Facebook livestream Town Hall event with FEMA

BATON ROUGE, La, (BRPROUD) Department of Homeland Security Director DHS, Center for Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships, Marcus Coleman to host a free AARP Telephone Town Hall event with FEMA to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Ida.

The AARP event will live-stream via Facebook at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26. Participants can ask questions directly about FEMA applications and learn about additional resources for help with Hurricane Ida recovery.

Attendees can pre-register here to receive a phone call before the event starts, or watch the live audio stream on the AARP Louisiana Facebook page. Phone lines will open at 10:55 a.m.

The event will be moderated by AARP Louisiana State Director, Denise Bottcher.
